Faith Isn’t a Dress Code

You can love Jesus…and still not look like what people expect. You can have tattoos. You can have a past. You can still be in the middle of healing…still figuring things out…still unlearning things that hurt you. And guess what? That doesn’t make your faith any less real.

Some people have turned Christianity into a checklist, how you dress, how often you show up to church, how “put together” you look. But Jesus never asked for perfection. He never said, “Come to me once you’ve fixed everything.” He said, come as you are.

The tired version of you. The messy version of you. The version of you that’s still trying to hold it all together. You don’t have to look like a “church girl” to have a real relationship with Him. Because some of the most honest prayers don’t happen in a pew. They happen in the car…in the kitchen…on the floor with tears falling and no words left.

God isn’t intimidated by your tattoos. He’s not turned off by your past. He’s not offended by your questions. He sees your heart. And He’s not asking you to perform for Him, He’s asking you to know Him.

So no…

you don’t have to fit into someone else’s version of what a Christian should look like. Because Jesus didn’t come for people who had it all together. He came for the ones who knew they didn’t. And maybe someone needs to hear this today, You don’t have to “look the part” to belong to Him.

You just have to come.
